Age Limit for Indian Army Recruitment 2018 : Candidates age limit should be between 17 1/2 to 21 years (i.e. candidates should be born between 01-10-1997 to 01-04-2001) for Post 1, 17 1/2 to 23 years for Post 2 to 8 (i.e. candidates should be born between 01-10-1995 to 01-04-2001).
Educational Qualification: Applicants should have Passed Matric for Post Soldier General Duty, Soldier Tradesman, 10+2 in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English for Post Soldier Technical, 10+2 in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English, Diploma in Engg (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobile/Computer, Science and Electronic & Instrumentation Engg) from a recognized Polytechnic Instt/ ITI for Post Soldier Technical (Ammunition/ Examiner), 10+2 pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English/ B.Sc Degree Botany/ Zoology/ Bio Science) and English for Post Soldier Technical (Nursing Assistant/ NA Veterinary), XII class, Studied English & Math/Acct/Book keeping in class XII or X and secured in Class XII or X for Post Soldier Clerks/ SKsT, have passed VIIIth class for Post Soldier Tradesman (House Keeper & Mess Keeper).

Age Limit:
* Age limit is 19 to 25 years (born not earlier than 02-07-1992 & not later than 01-07-1998) for NCC candidates (including wards of Battle Casualties).
Educational Qualification:
* Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks
* Minimum two academic years in the senior Division/ Wing of NCC & have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC for NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders
* Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks for Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel Only.
Selection Process:
* Candidates will be selected based on interview.
