Age Limit:
» Applicants age limit should be between 20-24 years (as on 01 January 2019 i.e. born between 02 January 1995 to 01 January 1999.(both dates inclusive) for Flying branch, 20-26 years for Ground Duty (Technical/ Non Technical) as on 01-01-2019.
Educational Qualification:
» Applicants should have minimum of 60% marks each in Maths & Physics at 10+2 level, Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or BE/B Tech from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks or equivalent, Cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent (Final Year students are also eligible to apply) for Flying branches, PG Degree in any science stream/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geography/ Computer Applications/ Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment/ Geo-physics/ Environmental Biology with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (provided Maths & Physics were studied at Graduation level with minimum of 55% marks in both) for Ground Duty (Meteorology branch).
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test & medical exam, Physical Test, Education Qualification
Training:
» Candidates training will Commence in the first week of January 2019 for all course at Air Force Academy Dundigal ( Hyderabad).
» The duration of training for Flying and Ground Duty (Technical) Branches is 74 weeks and that of Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branches is 52 weeks at Air Force Training.
Types Of Commission:
(1) PC for Men
(2) SSC for Men & Women.
Examination Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 250/- for AFCAT entry candidates. No fee for Meteorology entry and NCC Special entry candidates.
