1. Junior Hindi Translator: 01 Post
2. Hindi Typist: 01 Post
Age Limit:
** Applicants age should be between 18-30 years for S.No-01, 18-27 years for S.No-02 as on 15-10-2017.
** Upper age relaxation of 10 years for physically handicapped as per rules is applicable.
Educational Qualification:
** Applicants should have Master’s degree in Hindi/ English as a compulsory/ elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level or Masters degree in any subject other than Hindi/ English with Hindi and English as compulsory/ elective subject at degree level or Bachelors degree of a recognized University with Hindi and English as compulsory/ elective subject plus recognized Diploma/ Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central/ State Govt. of India undertaking for S.No-01, Matriculation or equivalent examination of recognized University/ Board, Speed of not less than 25 words per minute in Typewriting in Hindi for S.No-02.
Selection Process:
** Applicants will be selected based on written test & skill test.

** All eligible applicants can send their application in prescribed format along with admit card, photocopy of documents relating to date of birth, educational qualification, category certificate & disability certificate specifying the percentage of disability, two passport size photographs duly self attested (one to be affixed on form & other affixed on admit card), superscribe envelope (size 10 cms x 22 cms affixed with Rs. 5/- Postal stamp) with “Application for Post of ————–” by ordinary post to Principal Director, Defence Estates, Central Command, 17 Cariappa Road, Lucknow Cantt – 226002 (UP) on or before 15-10-2017 & 31-10-2017 for remote areas.
