Age Limit : The age limit of candidates who applying for the Punjab Police Sub-Inspector (Operator) posts is 18 to 28 years as on 01.01.2016.
Age Relaxation : The Relaxation of upper age limit will be of 05 years for SC/ ST/ BC candidates and 03 years for Ex-Serviceman.
Educational Qualification:
** Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA).
OR
** Bachelor of Science (Information Technology).
OR
** Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology in any of Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology Engineering/ Software Engineering.
OR
** Graduation in any stream with ‘A’ level computer course or above from National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology or Department of Electronics and Accreditation of computer course or Post Graduate Diploma/ Post Graduation in computer application/ Information Technology from any recognized university.
Physical Standards Eligibility :
** Height for the Punjab Police Sub-Inspector (Operator) Post
** Height for Male : 5 feet 5 inches
** Height for Female : 5 feet 1 inches
Selection Process:
The selection will be made on the basis of Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), OMR sheet based Written Examination, Interview and Medical Test/ Drug Test/ Dope Test.
Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to General category are required to pay fee of Rs. 400/- and Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/BC candidates through online by Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card or Challan at HDFC Bank/ Punjab Police Saanjh Kendras. Ex-Servicemen are exempted from the payment of application fee.
