IAF Eligibility Criteria:
For Group ‘Y’ (Musician) Trade:
Aspirants must have completed Matriculation /10th class or equivalent with minimum pass marks from any COBSE recognized Board and should be proficient in playing atleast one of the musical instruments.
For Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Trades:
– Candidate should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
– Aspirants must have passed Two years Vocational Course recognized by Association of Indian Universities (CBSE / Board of Vocational Higher Secondary Education Kerala) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Trade:-
– Candidates born between 01 August 1996 to 30 November 1999 (both days inclusive)
– In case, a candidate clears the Selection Procedure then the upper age limit as on date of enrollment is 21 years
Pay Scale:
-During training, a stipend of Rs. 11,400/- per month will be paid.
-After completion of training candidates will get Rs. 20,000/- per month (approximately).
-Other allowances such as Transport allowance, Composite personal maintenance allowance (CPMA), Leave Ration allowance (LRA), Children Education Allowance, Family planning allowance, HRA etc. are also admissible to airmen.
