Name of the Post: Assistant Professor
Name of the Discipline:
* Agriculture: 15 Posts
* Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry: 09 Posts
* Dairy Science: 02 Posts
* Horticulture: 03 Posts
* Food Science: 03 Posts
Age Limit:
* Candidate should be 35 years or less but not above the age of 35 Years.
* Age relaxation is admissible for SC, ST, SEBC and WOMEN candidates as per State Agricultural Universities of Gujarat (SAUGs) statutes and guidelines of Government of Gujarat from time to time.
Educational Qualification:
* With good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)
* Master’s degree level in a relevant subject of the concerned faculty from an Indian University & have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC/ICAR and should have published at least one article in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Science, New Delhi) rated journal
* Master’s degree, NET shall remain compulsory along with one publication in NAAS rated refereed journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted by ICAR/ UGC/ CSIR.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on applicants performance in Interview.

* Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- application fee + Rs.500/-processing fee) for SEBC candidates
* Rs.500/- (only processing fee) for SC and ST candidate of Gujarat through State Bank of India Collect payment facility/ Net Banking through SBI or any Other banks/ Debit Card/ Credit Card.
